The Alumni Association of Collège Dominique Savio of Haiti is a 501(c)(3) organization registered in the State of New York.
Its main purpose is to follow and apply the principles of Don Bosco by helping the most disadvantaged young people become good Christians and honest citizens.
Salesian FamilyTo put our knowledge and skills, as lay professionals, at the service of our members, the Salesian Family and society.
To work to help Don Bosco's past pupils become “salt of the earth and light of the world”.
Anyone who received a preparation for life based on the principles of Don Bosco's Preventive System in a Salesian oratory, school or other Salesian presence.
ACODOSAH has received the support of Mgr Sylvain Ducange, Fr. Hector Pascal, Fr. Gérald Jeannot, Fr. Sylvain Jeannot, Fr. Jean Paul Mesidor, Professors Yves Devaris, Benito Dume and Oranien Constant, as well as the World Confederation of Salesian Past Pupils.
It all began in 2017, when a former student, Bertini Lacrete, was celebrating his son's First Communion. A group of Dominique Savio Pétion-Ville alumni attended that gathering in Florida.
From there came the idea of organizing a reunion of Salesian past pupils and friends of Don Bosco. Paul Wilner, Alberte Lacrete, Yanick Louis and Marie Antoine Dentel were the pioneers of this idea.
To make this event happen, they unanimously chose Jude Elie to lead the process. On May 17, 2017, the alumni were contacted and Jude Elie agreed to organize the first gathering of Don Bosco past pupils from Pétion-Ville.
After that first successful gathering, teachers, students and priests asked that the movement not stop, and that we keep working together as an association to follow the path of Don Bosco.
First gathering of Dominique Savio alumni in Florida: the idea of an association is born.

ACODOSAH Impact sends more than 100 children to school and supports 3 young people through university in the United States.
Distributions, gatherings, award ceremonies: a few moments shared with young people and alumni of the Salesian Family.
Education, health, emergency relief, entrepreneurship, culture and media: each program extends the Salesian charism in Haiti and the diaspora.
This program aims to inspire and empower the young people of our society, especially the most disadvantaged. Since May 2019, thanks to our sponsors and the constant efforts of the ACODOSAH committee members, we have been able to send more than 100 children to primary school and support 3 young people pursuing university studies abroad (USA). Salesian past pupils are deeply involved in Haitian society.
With the support of the past pupils of Malta, under the leadership of Bryan Magro, President of the World Confederation of Salesian Past Pupils, and in coordination with DBTECH in Fort-Liberté, northern Haiti, directed by Fr. Jean Paul Mesidor, we built a computer lab to facilitate online learning and bring new technologies to young people.
We are looking for more support to bring positive and lasting change to young people. Our goal: to have this module in every Salesian center across Haiti.
Supporting Salesian alumni and friends in our society who face health problems. The doctors in this program are past pupils and friends of Don Bosco who want to give back to the community. Having Christians in a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being is the fundamental goal of this program.
After the 2021 earthquake in southern Haiti, we helped many families by providing food and medical supplies. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we were very active in supporting our community. Driven by the Salesian charism, the members of our association are always ready to take on challenges and support the population in hard times.
To support small and medium-sized businesses, we set up this program to accompany entrepreneurs and encourage young people to invest in business so they can become economically independent.
A meeting club and venue for Salesians and friends of Haiti. La Renaissance will include a library, a restaurant and meeting rooms, in the spirit of the Harvard Club of New York City.
An educational television for young people and society. Through this structure, we commit to creating and maintaining a safe environment for all young people and to promoting Don Bosco's Salesian principles.
“Everyone must do what he can,” he used to repeat. “I am not able to do great things, but what I can do, I want to do for the greater glory of God. I offer Him my poor actions.”
